Week 5: Music Reading
Week 5: Music Reading
Unit: Music Reading
This week we shift from beat making to reading and transcribing music. You’ll learn to identify the three main clef types — G, F, and C — and use each clef’s anchor note to read the staff. By the end of the week you’ll transcribe a familiar melody into Musescore and put your skills to the test with the Mystery Transcription activity.
